PhD Candidate in Linguistics at the University of Arizona
WHO I AM
I recently completed my PhD in Linguistics at the University of Arizona, supervised by Robert Henderson and Heidi Harley. I work primarily in formal semantics, syntax, and the interface between the two. More specifically, my work focuses on plurality (especially similative and associative plurality), decompositional approaches to argument structure, ellipsis (VP ellipsis and pseudogapping) and alternative semantics. I have also worked on on various aspects of the syntax and semantics of the Iranian languages based on elicitation with native speakers.
